Most publishers offer ebook editions through the large corporate suppliers such as Amazon and Apple’s iBooks. These platforms use digital rights management technology which restricts usage to a single user and device.

At Beyond the Pale Books we have decided to make ebook editions available ourselves and in a format that allows for ‘fair dealing’ (fair usage) under copyright law. Copyright should be respected which means that the work must not be reproduced/copied in any form or by any means without explicit permission from the publisher.

We offer ebooks in PDF format and/or in the two in main ebook formats:

1. EPUB is a generic format suitable for most ebook readers except Kindle.

2. For Kindle you need a file in the MOBI format.
