About us

Beyond the Pale Books is a revival of BTP Publications Ltd which published over 40 books during the 1990s and 2000s. We have a very small stock of printed editions from the past – collectors’ items no less! – and we are making some of our former titles available as e-books.

We are an independent not-for-profit social enterprise which is committed to publishing books and other media on Irish society, politics and culture.

We exist for the social purpose of:

publishing new and unrecognised authors through high quality print and e-book editions
providing marginalised communities with a voice through a range of print and electronic media
contributing to the public discussion of key contemporary issues
reflecting the diversity of peoples on the island of Ireland.
